    Decided to scale down from my previous 8620 when the printer heads gave up the ghost. I looked at replacing them but there was no guarantee that it would solve the issue which would have been fairly expensive. Having now seen the difference in quality between the 8620 and the 6950, I wish I had gone for the replacement model for the 8620. The item does the job but it is not as robust as my previous printer and needs very gentle treatment.

    I haven't used this a lot yet - but it is very neat with a smaller footprint and height than my previous printer (an OfficeJet Pro 8600). So far the print quality seems very similar, the speed and usability are good and the price was excellent. Set up was very easy.

    I have been using the OfficeJet 6950 for a week now. It produces first class prints including photo's and the scanner/copier function is good, especially the sheet feeder. It took a lot of research to find this all round well performing printer.
