Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good first impression We only recently ordered and received our new 5660 printer. Probably due to our lack of experience, it took us a little while to set the printer up but with a little help from HP, we soon had the printer working well. We just got the machine so I can't really comment on durability but, so far, we are very satisfied with our purchase. Everything is what we expected or better. March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by very happy with the HP Envy 5660 printer We had to find a replacement for an HP printer that broke after many years of good service. After reading many reviews of the HP Enby5660, some good and several bad, we bought the HP Envy 5660 anyway. Like all printers, the price was low and I did not like the appearance of others and was not familiar with many of the other brands. Also, we have always had good luck with HP products. The results are, we are very happy with the HP Envy 5660 printer. The print quality is very good, it prints fast, it is fairly quite (even though that is not too important to us). Nice stylish appearance. Easy to set up. The LCD screen is nice size and the instructions shown on it are logical and easy to use. We have had it for about a month now and have printed about 500 pages already. We also got the HP Instant Ink. We print a lot in spurts and it is handy not having to have a large stock of ink on hand and always waiting for the next ink sale to occur. So, we also recomment the Instant Ink feature if you print a lot. March 5, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the best printer. I loved my old HP all in one printer but it finally died and I had to replace it. I did so with the HPEnvy 5660. The first one I got had to be sent back as it would not recognize the photo paper. I spent 3 hrs on the phone with a tech and we could not make it happen. I now have a replacement and it functions sometimes. Right now I am trying to copy a check and all I get is a message that the "paper size detected by the printer does not match the paper size selected". It then spits out a blank peice of paper the correct size but without copying my check. I have had this problem over and over. Occassionally it will print correctly. Scanning is also a sometimes event. When it prints pictures the color is very good but overall I am totally unhappy that I made this purchase. January 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great all-in-one printer! This all in one printer is good for home use and prints pretty fast with e-print, which means that it needs no cables! Not much features, and it would be better if it could fax and print super fast. Good for its price. January 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Scanning function poor depenency I've used HP products for years. Computers, all in one Copy, print, scan. Owned several over the years. Always pleased till I bought this model. When new OK. Most functions still OK. Scanning dependability is poor. Can't fine router or computer via signal. Used software to set it up several times. It went from success to failure to it might find router but not computer. This is very frustrating. I have given up on that function... All other functions work perfect... But I also need scan. Will I buy an HP replacement? I just don't know now...... January 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it is supposed to do Generally good gets the job done, some quirks in the print dialog. Here are some goods: 1. Flawlessly connects to my home wifi. 2. Photo prints are better than I expected and quality is so good that you can frame and hang, do make sure to use HP photo papers. 3. speed is alright for home use. 4. It just works. Not so Good: 1. the print dialog crashes sometimes if I try to use keyboard to change options. 2. Print dialog never remembers the setting I chose last time, I have to change paper type / paper size / print quality / tray every time I print a photo. 3. Sometimes even when I select photo tray it prints from main tray. December 30, 2015
