Rated 5 out of 5 by Each time I have called on HP to help me We have installed this on a windows10 machine which also is printed to from unix and have no problems. May 19, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very frustrated with this network printer We have to reboot this network printer about 6 times a day to get it to work. It's receiving the print data, because when you print from your computer, the screen on the printer says "Printing Document". But, it just hangs there on that screen and does nothing - it will say "Printing Document" for an hour if you let it. The documents we're printing are 1 to 2 page Word documents that don't even have any images or anything - just plain text. Once we reboot it, we have to open our "See what's printing" on our computers and try to delete the print job so we can try to print again. It's just so frustrating to have this constant hassle every single day. I know it's not the network, because when I use the HP desktop scanner application that came with the printer, it connects every time to the printer through the network without any issues whatsoever. The scanner works great, never had a single issue scanning documents to my computer. It's just that we can't print without rebooting it almost every time we need to print. I wish I could go back and spend my money on another printer because I would definitely not buy this one again, nor recommend it to anyone. May 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by 2 out of 3 has to be replaced Based on my recommendation, client purchased 3 of these over a period of 18 months. The last 2 of them, purchased within the last 6 months, failed within weeks and were replaced with refurbs! When I took off the protective film on the last refurb today, the printer's case was marred in several places! This is the best model when looking at the specs for HP's B&W AIO's. Quality has been very disappointing to say the least! February 3, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by High pitch squeal when printing I bought the product in November 2015. The one I have now is the third one. This printer and the two before it emit a high pitch squeal when printing or copying. I work from home an d the noise wakes everyone in the house. I use only HP toner cartridges, I've downloaded the latest driver and firmware. I've spent maybe eight hours with support. Everyone in the house hears the noise so it isn't my imagination. One forum suggested the noise was due to misaligned something or other. I have to live with this because my work software only works with an HP printer. I have to wonder what is the issue and if anyone else has dealt with this problem. December 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Work Horse I purchased this printer about 6 months ago and I have had no problems. Set up was a breeze it connected straight away to my wireless connection. Replacing the toner is easy. I get great yield per month about 1000 pages The scanner is excellent, fast and has a capacity of about 30 sheets. My only complaint would be trying to scan one page, it does not like to 'pick up' the one sheet so you have to lift the page up for it to feed. Other than that I would highly recommend this printer/scanner for all home or small offices. September 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product I got this print about 8 months ago and it seems to be working fine. I did have trouble getting it connected to my network, but a call to HP help line fixed that. The only problem I have is the printer occasional looses connection to my network and I need to reset the printer by turning it off and back on. June 11, 2015
