Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is the worse printer I have ever owned by hp. I had a photosmart HP before this and it was an awesome printer. Photos were great and you could buy photo ink but not with the new model, why? Bought a new computer and old printer wasn't compatible so I had to buy a new one. Worse choice possible. Photos aren't clear and vibrant, sometimes it prints and there are times the colors bled. Might be online one day and the next not. There is suppose to be a manufacturer 1 yr. Warranty but they don't want to take responsibility for it. I hate this printer and the money I wasted on it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Walk by this one Terrible. We wanted an all-in-one that had capability of WiFi, faxing as well as printing photos. This was virtually our only HP option. We bought this to replace anther HP printer that was awesome, but our iPads didn't support it anymore. We have had probably 4-5 HP printers and have usually loved them. Not this one. The WiFi connection continually drops, despite being in the same room with the modem/router. I have tried many, many times to print photos. I have yet to be successful. I keep getting an error message that the paper tray(s) are empty when in fact they have a good amount of paper. When the tray slides in to print, the paper is pushed to the back of the tray so the printer doesn't recognize it as being full. It's very frustrating. The same has happened with the regular paper tray. We have had this printer for about a month and I'm ready to throw it out the window.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointment!! This printer was fine for 2 years or so until it completely stopped working. I have a lot of schoolwork to print and the printer does not print black ink documents at all, and for color pictures it looks terrible!! I used it with my macbook pro and it is a terrible printer. I tried switching the ink cartridges and everything, but it just will NOT work!!! Not good for long term use. I treated this printer well and it still does not work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from tri-color cartridge? 3 color cartridge? No thanks, I never run out of ink evenly, one color always goes out first. I want my old photosmart back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer Has all the features we could desire; works very well. Some problems with the software installation (the software installs and works, however, the network printer discovery seems to have issues with my Linksys AC1900 wireless network, or possibly with the PCs anti-virus firewall (discovery issue occurred with both McAffee and Norton...possibly an issue with the software not coordinating proper firewall rules.) The printer is occasionally not available (shows as off-line) after the computer is used after an extended period of non-use, requiring a restart of the computer to reestablish communications with the printer. I haven't figured out a possible cause or solution for this issue yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks impressive, sounds awful I just bought this machine for use in my business, so I am writing mainly from first impressions and limited actual use. Unit is fairly bulky compared to the HP 3680 it replaced; but of course it offers two ways of scanning, not just one. Setup was OK. I wasn't interested in the wireless,so was happy I could still use old fashioned USB cable. I do mostly B/W drawings and documents , and the machine does the scanning/copying/printing operations quick enough. And I liked the neat little trapdoor that hides the SD card and USB ports for external memory. The only negative I have at this point is...the darn thing is NOISY.The touch of a button sets off a cacophony of whirring and grinding; making me wonder if the machine should have come equipped with grease fittings and a small grease gun.LOL But seriously, it concerns me how long the mechanics will last when they are that noisy from new....
