I've been conditioned to order things through supply stores (Office Max/Office Depot) and not from the manufacturer, so I contacted the supply stores first as usual when my printer started giving me low toner warnings. The supply stores did not have the high volume cartridges and they said they could ship the smaller volume cartridges, but it would take two to three weeks, leaving my only option with them to make a 3 hour round trip to pick it up (that is how long it takes to get to their closest store). In almost desperation, I went to HP's online store. I made my order and two days later the replacement cartridge was in my hands. I was wonderfully surprised. I never thought a manufacturer could outsell and outperform the supply stores, but they did and at the best price! January 23, 2014
