Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and stylish The HP powerup backpack is very stylish! Also the back is great for storing numerous items. The pack holds my 13 inch laptop with no problem. Furthermore, the backpack holds my books and note books for college. I would highly recommend this back to anyone—especially college students!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag for the Light Commuter The Powerup Backpack has so far proven to be a slim and elegant solution for carrying my HP laptop, tablet, & some books. Features like the rain jacket and rain-resistant canvas material (for when the slicker cover is not applied) give the bag some practical edge in a variety of conditions. The back's ability to slide right onto a carry-on suitcase is a nice plus. And the support for tucking in the included battery, wires, and the easy-access stow for a charging brick/cable on the side are all polished design elements. Less optimal for the hardcore cycling commuter, especially if one has come from a purpose-built bag for cyclists and is accustomed to fitting a full grocery load inside, but it isn't really for that. And it handles bike commuting just fine if your main concern is porting electronics and a change of clothes. Too early in its use for me to speak to its long-term ruggedness, but it feels pretty well-crafted in the hand. The only part I actively wonder about the long-term durability of is the leather top-handle, but so far, so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where has this been at my whole life!!! I absolutely love this backpack!!! I am always on the move and the huge battery capacity is a dream come true!! I was recently sent to a 2 day training off site and was able to put this backpack to the true test. There are only 2 issues I have with is so far but they are very minor issues to me. The first is that the bag doesn't come with a charger so you will have to have or buy an HP charger of some kind, in order to charge the battery. This was not an issue for me as I am a tech and I have countless HP chargers at my disposal. The other issue I have is that you can't charge a laptop while the laptop is in use. I removed the battery from the bag and tried to charge the laptop up while using it and the battery would go into some kind of error state where all the lights flash, and needs to be reset by holding the button down before it will work again. I have also noticed this happens when the battery gets too hot (must be the temp sensor they mention in the packaging). My trunk was very hot (90+ outside) and when I got the bag home from my training the battery wouldn't charge because it was too hot and went into the same error state. However I was curious that if I just left the battery plugged in, would it eventually come out of the error state on its own and charge??, so i left it plugged in for a while. When I had returned the battery had in fact came out of its error state and charged completely once it had cooled off (very cool!!). All that aside this is a great addition to any techs inventory especially if you're on the go a lot. The wire pass through's are absolutely brilliant!!! It is very easy to run the wires initially, and almost just as easy to remove one if you need to take it out for any reason. The fact that I can charge my laptop, 2 phones, and/ or my headphones 3 at a time while I'm on the go is an absolute dream!!! And even though the battery doesn't charge a laptop while it's on, with this bag you will always have a charger ready to go right out of the side pocket, all you need to do is disconnect it from the battery and use it on its own. The bag seems very durable and is very stylish. I seems to get lots of looks when I wear it, mostly when I open the front pouch, pull out a cord and plug my phone in lol. I have even found myself carrying it around at home, or taking the battery out at home, to use it to charge my phones. I no longer have to carry around another USB cube and cord for all my android devices, because when they need a charge I just stick them in the front pocket when I'm not using them and the bag charges them back up to 100 (oh and it shuts off the battery automatically when the device reaches 100%, saves the battery!!). Overall this bad is one of my favorite things I have ever had. It keeps me charged up wherever I go and looks great while doing it!!!! love this bag HP thank you for making it!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No power supply Good backpack, good battery. Does NOT (I say again: NOT) include a power supply (a.k.a. adapter); you are expected to use your own (HP only) power supply.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They do NOT provide a power cord!!! Very cool, but absolutely NO WAY to charge the battery pack, and then absolutely NO WAY to even plug it into my laptop that I purchased first. From the laptop purchase, it gave me this as a recommendation and it sounds great. Now realize... the backpack is great, great, great! But the whole point is the power up feature right? They give some cords, but NOTHING works with my brand new Spectre. No response yet after a whole week from customer service. Will probably be my last HP order... ever.
