Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had one issue, fixed it, now LOVE this laptop So I love this laptop!! It's everything I wanted it to be. The only issue I faced was that I was on the internet and clicked a link that happened to be a website created to give the device a virus. I called the HP Support number on the screen that popped up with a warning as my computer was already undergoing the effects of the virus, but the support guy said it'd cost me $200 for him to fix it right then and there. I did not have that money on hand so there was no way. So I went to the Mcafee protection software that came with the laptop and had it do a virus sweep, which only told me everything was fine. Apparently, it didn't set up correctly or automatically with the setup of this device, but luckily I have a friend who is really good with computers and she downloaded a new protection software (CCleaner) and reset my laptop to its original, new state. It was quite a scare as it was only my first day with the laptop, and I honestly felt like I had no support from HP, aa the promised warranty/protection seemed forgotten. So my complaint isn't technically about the computer which is why I rate it high in its fully operational state, but I rate HP Support unreliable as well as the Mcafee Software that came with it. Maybe I didn't set the software up correctly and this whole issue could have been avoided, but I'm just telling my experience with it.
