Rated 5 out of 5 by Technician made it look easy The technian was able to hook up my new pc to my monitor. connect the printer, downloaded microsoft office 2010 that I was later able to upgrade for free to office 2013 with MSN tech support...It was worth the price to be sure everything was done correct. If I was computer proficiant I probably could had done it myself. February 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Would never do again The technician that came out was not familiar with the services he was supposed to perform, nor with the idiosyncracies of HP computers. He had several difficulties, and having a previous HP computer myself, I had to show him several of the steps to set up the computer. The "advanced" installation service was a complete waste of my time and money. I could have done what he did, and in less time. In particular, I did need help setting up Outlook, and he was unable to successfuly do that. I couldn't recommend the HP advanced installation service any less. January 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worthwhile Purchase This Advanced HP Computer Installation was expensive but worth my while. It was my first Windows 7 laptop and the HP service Pro was meticulous while patiently explaining items during the installation process. It was done in less than 4 productive hours but would have taken me many more hours. From start-up routines to optimization to connecting to networks and ISP provider, to setting up MS Outlook, etc. If you have the extra money and hate to do this yourself, it is worth it. May 5, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Installation and Setup Took all day and still isn't right. My time is not correct on my monitor. I asked that NORTON NOT BE INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER - BUT IT IS!! It needs to uninstalled for me to use McAfee. My products were not registered. There are wires hanging out of the back of my cpu that go NOWHERE - why is that??? The computer tech could not use The PC mover I purchased. He said it did not work and he used a free AMicrosoft data mover off the web. I could have done this and saved myself over 200.00 that I paid for this, time and hassle - in addition to false confidence! There is more, but I have talked with so many people today who keep telling me I need to call the other person AGAIN. I have asked for a manager to call me back. I wonder if I will be surprised?? I am not a happy customer. March 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well worth the money! HP PC setup and installation (advanced) was well worth the money. Computer, monitor, printer were all set up and I was connected to the internet. My files were transferred from my old PC to new PC. My new Outlook had all my contacts,saved e-mails etc. and Explorer had all my favored web sites The technician was very helpful and did a great job. February 19, 2012
