Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use Very easy to understand the policy. This is a warranty extension for a printer that was purchased a year ago. Now they do not often have problems but if one does occur it is peace of mind knowing the repair will be covered. May 14, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Completely happy Have purchased more then ten HP laptops for my family. I have also purchased the 3 year accidental damage on the majority of them. I have had three of them experience problems after being dropped. One fell down a flight of stairs. The HP care pack covered all damage. I would not buy any other brand of computer and never without a extended care pack. December 15, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Does not apply to refurbs This does not apply to refurbished notebooks yet it doesn't note that above. It took me sitting on the phone with technical support for a few hours to resolve this issue (i.e. before they were able to help me after they realized that I purchased a warranty that's not applicable to my laptop). They eventually refunded the money and found me an appropriate warranty, but I lost the significant discount I had used the buy the original warranty (one of the reasons I was persuaded to buy it in the first place) and the price was significantly higher. The dumbest part of it all was the fact that I found this warranty via the link they sent me in a personalized marketing email after a prior customer service encounter; it wasn't like I navigated to a wrong section or entered an incorrect model number. In the end, the problem was addressed, albeit less than ideally for me, but I feel that a disclaimer should be written on here. October 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This does not apply to refurbished laptops No where on this product's listing does it say that this applies to new laptops only, and not refurbished ones. Of course not many people buy refurbs, but still it should say clearly what it protects and what is invalid, especially since an email suggesting I extend my warranty brought me to this site with a discount and my specific model number in the message. You will only find out when you buy it, wait for it to come, install it, then are unable to register it. After a few hours on the phone and waiting for a few weeks, I finally received my refund but you should avoid this product if you have a refurb. September 26, 2013
