The on-site repair process includes remote diagnosis, which may result in sending the customer an easy-to-replace part, scheduling a visit to the customer’s home or office– with the technician arriving within 3 business days of logging the call with HP and determining that an on-site visit is required– or, in rare instances, sending the customer’s PC to an HP-authorized repair site. On-site visits are available 8am-8pm local time, Monday-Saturday, excluding holidays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GET WARRANTY VERY WORTHWHILE in 2007 I bought HP pavillion with the $149 warranty. Skeptical at first i did, It was the best thing I have ever done. Whenever something went wrong (sometimes because of my ignorance), I call and the tech with come into my comp and correct. if this cannot be done they will send for it, make necessary repairs and return within a very timely fashion. During these many years , replaced the Hard Drive and put in new memory board..while today it is still operating i will make a new purchase only because it is too old now to get another extended warranty of which i want to always have. I have had the " Best Customer Service " anyone could ask for throughout these years and now getting ready for another round of HP service. December 2, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Why did I bother? Maybe I didn't understand properly. I thought this would also help if I had trouble setting up and if I needed support, but apparently not so much. I also was under the impression that it gave me access to the HP friend service but was told that would be extra cost when I actually tried to use it. This is not the only product that the website is not completely clear on. I usually don't purchase extended warranties and so far I'm figuring I wasted my money here and will go back to my old policy of "no thanks". May 23, 2014

Installed with XP HP's quality and Quality control have gone from 10 stars to -10stars.A brand new comp.advertized with Win 7 Home Premium came with xp service pack 2.Plain sloppy and a disservice to all customers.All I had ever owned was HP.I would not take a free one now.Go Samsung!!!!! Therefore, it must be good if no one has to use it! Knowing the reputation of HP, I assume if I call, someone will show up to fix things. Knowing HP, I'll probably never need to use this!
