Rated 5 out of 5 by Sticking With HP Service Contract I had a very positive experience with HP Service. Something went wrong with my 8500 All-in-One. The service people were very patient with me by telephone in ascertaining if it was an on site fixable problem. Once they saw that it wasn't they shipped me a new one in 24 hrs. and had me return, by FedEX ground, the bad one and they paid the shipping. It was a relatively easy procedure. I "dumped" the contract that I purchased with the vendor I bought the item from (more expensive and complicated -- got refund). Why go with something questionable when you have had good experience with HP Service & Support? May 4, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Necessary Evil You shouldn't have to need this coverage but with the problems I had with my last 400 series Deskjet I didn't dare take a chance on another HP product without it. My last printer worked for two months, its warranty refurbished one didn't work and the replacement's warranty refurbished on lasted a couple months. I didn't have the patience to go through the whole replacement process again so I'm trying a different HP product. April 29, 2012
