The on-site repair process includes remote diagnosis, which may result in sending the customer an easy-to-replace part, scheduling a visit to the customer’s home or office– with the technician arriving within 3 business days of logging the call with HP and determining that an on-site visit is required– or, in rare instances, sending the customer’s PC to an HP-authorized repair site. On-site visits are available 8am-8pm local time, Monday-Saturday, excluding holidays.

Rated 2 out of 5 by If you upgrade to windows 10 and revert back to wh If you upgrade to Windows 10, and/or revert back to windows whatever this will change your product# and it will mess things up for your warranty. It wont show on HP support assistant-warranty and services remaining and you will have to keep track of it yourself. May 14, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by MISLEADING This warranty does NOT cover your laptop for 2 extra years, it starts from the day you originally bought your machine which is dumb because you already get a 1 year warranty with your HP Product. My initial 1 year warranty was about to expire so I bought this thinking it was 2 more years, because it says 2 YEAR..., and the lady that sold it to me even said it was for 2 years. After I purchased it, I was told it was only covered for 1 more year. I immediately requested a refund and they tried talking me into keeping it by offering a $10 discount then a $20 discount after I said no and I refused that offer too. Why would you pay $159 for a 2 year warranty when it only actually covers one year because you already get a 1 year warranty when you buy your HP machine?! The worst part is this is their ONLY extended warranty that covers my HP ENVY... May 14, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not an extended warranty This is not an "Extended" warranty. I bought it and they put my start date as the date of purchase. I had this for awhile so instead of 2 years, it only extended my coverage by 1 year. February 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by This was a saving grace when you lose A Hard Drive The repair was done great beyond expectataions for the thorough jpb they did checking it all out after the repair. My heart ache started when the Win 10 installation burped during download, which wiped out my old Win 8.1 Recovery Drive, then purchasing a new Win 10 license for $100.00 which also did not work, then to top it all off I had to puchase a set of Recovery Disks for $30.00, only to have the HD fail during installatiion. GOT BIG MESSAGE NO HARD DRIVE DETECTED. Sent for repair, they could not recover my programs, so now I have to spend tons more money to get them all back, after I try to re-install Win 10. At this point I can say that I am deeply disappointed with MS and its poor mode of doing an auto install of Win 10, then all I spent getting to where I am now. Almost BAH to computers, after having grown up from a slide rule to an HP-35, that I started my Radar Career with. That's All Folks!!! October 1, 2015
