Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice concept, poor execution Purchased 2 of these new Z-books but not initially compatible. Had to perform at least 1 firmware update and still have glitchy performance that includes randome mouse and keyboard freeze-ups, unrecognized drivers, need to unplug laptop and re-plug in in order to work. Our I.T. guy and HP have been trying to correct problems for weeks without success. July 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very poorly documented. 2 full days. No progress. This product has great features, but be prepared to assemble ten or so driver requirements, download them, navigate the associated credentials, setup and version ambiguities and then still have nothing to show for it. Also be prepared to need to eject the docking station like a jump drive whenever you disconnect. Also be prepared to NEVER connect or disconnect the docking station if the computer is suspended, sleeping, on standby... anything besides OFF or ON. At least this is what the docs I finally found on it say. I've been trying to get it configured for two full days now and still have yet to have it show any more functionality than a simple power supply. Other than all of this, what's not to love? Rated 1 out of 5 by Expensive piece of junk First of all it's just a dock, it (kinda) works sometimes and has standard features. Seems overpriced. Also I have spent numerous hours on this product figuring out how to make it work with the Elite Pad 1012 G1. It is super particular about drivers installed (there isn't even a driver listed on the product driver page) and the built of the pc. It seems ridiculous that this isn't plug-and-play or has a simple driver that it works with. I had to go through various firmware and BIOS updates, driver installs and rebuilds. June 15, 2016
