    lots of problems

I bought this laptop a week ago and I just started using it. I am running GIS ArcMap, acrscene, photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and rhino simultaneously, and the computer does a great job. I found the screen is really responsive to the touch of the pen, and it is really nice to hold and use it, however, I haven't used it enough to be a fair judge of that. With that said, I really do want to like this laptop, However, I found that it has a lot of little problems, from the laptop not able to search for Bluetooth devices to not being able to connect to my monitor, and if it does connect to the monitor, the audio will go, to not reading my external hard drive. These are the problem I found in one day that during the time I was setting my laptop to my set up at home. The fan is kind of loud, I am used to my Macbook air which is extremely quiet. I talked to the HP rep. they were helpful trying to help me but the process is slow. It took me over two hours on the phone and via online chat with them and they finally suggested me to contact sale rep to get my laptop replace because it is essentially brand new. I am returning this laptop, and I hope the new replacement will be better.

    Terrible touchpad

Warning, this expensive computer does not incorporate precision touchpad. The touchpad is not up to standard with precision control. It's sluggish and annoying. I played with the settings numerous times and still can't get a good feel. Sending this computer back to HP.

    Great laptop but horrible battery

This laptop has pretty much every feature that I needed. The only major issue I had was the horrible battery life that gave me close to 4 hours, and is very different from the advertised battery life, on very basic video and web browsing usage. This is mainly due to the 4k display. I have returned this laptop back to HP as the battery life was not worth the price. Hoping HP also releases the FHD version of the same laptop with same specs (13 inch) in Canada. Also the return process wasn't great either as HP does not provide a printable shipping label, and requires a pickup with some a lengthy shipping process. HP its 2017, let's pick it up, as most web orders have a much more stream-lined process now (competitors).
